Semanas 5 y 6 - 2016 Documented - Weeks 5 & 6

Y vosotr@s? Cómo lleváis vuestros proyectos anuales?

****

Good morning! Another week that it's gone. Don't you feel like the time is flying lately? I don't know If It's because of the stressed life we liveos because I'm getting older, haha. But the thing is that I start every Monday full of energy and wanting to squeeze the week and when I look the calendar, the week is gone.

Anyway, It's just a thought! Today I want to show you the Weeks 5 and 6 of my "2016 Documented" project. I'm super happy because I have It updated. I miss the project life cards and the page protectors full of cute little pockets to decorate, but being realistic, I know that won't be able to keep it updated. And as the most important is to get our life documented, so I'm so happy with this planner method. And It also gives me the chance to use a lot of stickers and other embellishments from older collections, that wouldn't be used.

What about you? How is It going your one year projects?

Scrap A Tres "Enamórate" - Barcelona

****

Good morning Monday! We started the week with full recharged energy after spending the weekend in Barcelona, where I was so lucky to attend the beautiful event "Scrap A Tres Fall in love" organized by these amazing ladies: Xénia from Xenia Crafts, Marta Juez from MiScrapLab and Leti from Gigi et Moi.

No detail missed, a lovely sweet breakfast table, great decor throughout the room and a photo call which was wonderful! We even had assigned a song on each table!!

****

But while all of this is great, the best part was the projects we did! A home deco, which left me in love since I saw It and an album on which to make the covers we applied a thousand mixmedia techniques (I enjoyed as a child, going out of my comfort zone). We also made a sewn binding that was a real find! Not only we take home these two very special projects, but we were laden with a lot of supplies included in the kits and many more gifts from event sponsors, amazing!! So I was lucky that I gained one of the prizes raffled !! A perfect event !!

****

And in addition to share a table with two of my favorite people, Marta Cuerda and Esther Ayala, who made the day unforgettable, the great Mireia Carbonell visited us!!! A great example to follow !! So what I'm going to say? It could not get better, surrounded by so many high level scrappers, of friends who are worth a world and a thousand goodies that we love! To repeat a thousand times!!

I can only thank Scrap A Tres for organizing that cool events!!

Hola hola!

Cómo hacer una tarjeta original de San Valentín // How to make an original St Valentine's Day Card

Hola hola!

****

The first thing I want to say about the video today is that I'm so sorry but a part of it, is recorded unfocused and when I realized it was too late, but still I thought you might like this video in which I'm showing you to make a card for your special someone on Valentine's day or any occasion just want to say "I Love you" regardless of the date.

The supplies that I use are the January's 2016 Kit from Studio Calico (http://www.studiocalico.com). The Crop a Dile you can get It here http://goo.gl/g7DwHg

****

First we need a piece of paper 15cm x 30cm, in which we make marks up and down to 7.5 cm and 22.5 cm. We join those marks with a folder and turned to inside. In the two flaps that have folded, we make a hole with the Crop a Dile, two centimeters into the flap in the middle (to 7.5 cm). After we punch two circles on craft cardboard 2.5cm diameter, also we make them a hole and we add them to the doors of our card with a brad.

We fold a cardstock sheet size A4 in half and next to the the fold we draw a circle about 7cm in diameter, then draw a diagonal line from the edge of the circle to the fold cardstock and cut It on the lines we draw. This will be our template to cut the other three hearts that we need for the inside of the card (two of patterned paper and one from a photo).

The papers glued inside the structure measured: two pieces of 7 x 14,5cm and 14,5cm x 14.5 piece.

I hope you find this information useful and that you liked the video despite the bad focusing, so sorry it has happened this way! Thanks for stopping by and see you in the next video!

Cómo decorar tu agenda - Plantilla mensual // How to decorate your planner - Monthly template

Hola hola!

Hello! The first week of February It's almost done but anyway, I wanted to show you the process I follow to decorate the monthly templates on my Hello Forever Planner of Studio Calico. And today I will use mainly HeroArts stamps, designed by Kelly Purkey, one of the brands that has most variety of planner stamps, among many other topics. They also have their own dies and inks, such as Ombre inks, which I also I show in this video.

The first thing I do is change the days of the week, so my week begins on Monday. After I start to mark with my icon stamps the events that I have planned and use the label stamps to write the titles of the events. I use washi tape to unify the days that are part of the same event, such as a trip. And then the remaining space, I use it to decorate the template with die cuts, washi tape, enamel dots and alpha stamps.

Mini álbum On The Go - ¿Habremos superado el reto?

Hola hola!

****

In today's video I will show you how It looks the mini album I've been making during our trip, using only the material that I have shown you in the last video, which you can watch again here https://youtu.be/zlm4hJHMlnA

As I had not time to finish it, I take the opportunity to show you how I decorate one of the pages and then will show you the finished album, so you can see how easy it is to get just a few supplies with you while travelin and document your trip in situ. What I liked most is to look for those little moments to scrapbook, not forget anything because it was all very fresh, and the best, using all kinds of elements that I collected from the places we visited.
